Welcome to Osma

Every week, our Chef, Valentin, prepares the menu using seasonal products mainly from our beautiful region between Perche Vendômois and Perche Sarthois.

As well as the quality of their products, we select our suppliers and the producers we work with for their eco-responsible approach, because we want to limit the impact of our activity as much as possible, just like the winegrowers we introduce in our wine list. Biodynamic, Natural, Sulphite-free… we’ll tell you all about these wines and the work of their makers, whom we admire.

« Table de copains et vins vivants » (Friend’s table and lively wine) reflects the values of conviviality that we would like to pass on to you during your experience at Osma. So let us take you on a guided tour of what Valentin has come up with this week.

Reserve a table

Reservations for up to 6 people can only be made via our websiteNo reservations will be taken by telephone. If you would like to make a reservation for more than 6 people, please contact us by email at reservations@osma.restaurant . We guarentee to reply within 24 hours.

Given the increase in false bookings, a bank imprint (or prepayment depending on the experience chosen) will be systematically requested and your booking will not be guaranteed until you receive confirmation from the booking system.

We operate a strict cancellation policy to protect our small business and ensure our valued customers get the experience they deserve.

We accept cancellations or amendments free of charge up to 48 hours before the day of your booking for normal services. Special services (Christmas, New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, etc.) will be subject to special conditions, which will be mentioned at the time of booking.

Any cancellation or modification after the deadline mentioned above or any no-show on the day of booking will result in the amount of the bank imprint being debited or the prepayment being retained.

Delays of more than 15 minutes are considered as no-shows.

Our aim is to offer a unique experience, by creating harmony between seasonal products and the Chef's technique and creativity in the kitchen. Dishes can therefore change from one day to the next depending on what our suppliers bring us. Chef Valentin will guide you through your meal with a unique blind menu.

To carry out our mission and deliver the best possible experience, the Chef's Inspiration menu will only be served if all the guests at the table select it.

The MICHELIN Guide's review

"Osmazôme is a term coined by the gastronome Brillat-Savarin to define the sapidity of game in broths," explains Valentin Barbera. Having worked at the Lièvre Gourmand in Orléans and Christian Têtedoie in Lyon, this young chef has chosen to set up his trendy "table de copains" in a village lost in the heart of the Percheron woodes countryside. You can rest your elbows on old railway carriage floors under a host of pretty designer wall lights. The menu is efficient, using almost exclusively local products: lentils, pumpkin, oxalys; eggs, potatoes, pike roe; turnip, eel. Natural wine list only.

The FOODING Guide's review

In Sargé, we knew Les Saisons, the village restaurant. Now it's Osma, the brainchild of Emmanuel Lacroix and Valentin Barbera, the chef who worked with Christian Têtedoie in Lyon. The dining room is a pure affair - white, black and wood - with Starck chairs, chic recycled tabletops and designer bases, on which rest knives from Montmirail and crockery from ceramist Michael Buckley in Orléans… Inside? Valentin's minimalist and sometimes crazy creations, inspired by top-of-the-range, organic and local products (vegetables, meat, honey, saffron…), in a four-course menu: fresh split pea and pea purée; hearty custard marrow with smoked trout, shiso, Thai basil and marigold; tender mature Gallice beef fillets, wild asparagus, zucchini and reduced juice; melted apple compressed in cider, caramel, vanilla cream and hemp shoots. // R.deB.

SOMETHING TO QUENCH YOUR THIRST? fine collection of living wines: Le Temps du Domaine Guilhem Barré (5 € a glass), anjou blanc Magic of Ju-Ju de Mosse (35 € the bottle), orange slovène de Simona et Aleks Klinec (68 €), coteaux-du-vendômois rouge Picrochole d’Ariane Lesné (35 €), cidre brut Silex d’Antoine Marois (21 €), local beer La Valennoise (5,50 € - 33 cl) or kombucha and kéfir TK bio (3 € - 33 cl).
